How does installation work?

From factory to your backyard — how a finished MicroHome actually gets delivered and set up on your block.

One of the best things about a MicroHome is that the hard part happens before it arrives. Your home is built and finished in our Melbourne factory, then delivered as a complete, ready-to-live-in unit.

Delivered on its own chassis

Because a MicroHome rides on its own registered chassis, it’s transported by a licensed transport company and manoeuvred into position on site — no crane-and-assemble, no weeks of trades in your backyard.

Set level, even on tricky sites

The 10cm low-floor design and our install process mean we can set the home level and stable even on blocks that are steep, tight or muddy. We’ve put homes into places that looked impossible for a build this size.

Services connected, then handover

Once it’s in position, we help connect your services — power, water and waste via the EasyConnect system, or a solar/off-grid setup if you’re not connecting to mains. Then we hand over the keys to a home that’s ready to use.

Every site is a little different, so the exact approach depends on access and your block. The best first step is a quick chat so we can assess it — book a factory tour and we’ll walk you through it.
