Privacy policy

This page explains what MicroHomes Group collects through this website, why, and what you can ask us to do about it. It is written to be read, not to be survived.

What we collect when you send an enquiry

Our enquiry form asks for your name, email address, phone number, the postcode and state of the block you have in mind, what you would use the home for, and roughly when you are hoping to go ahead. You can also leave a message. We ask for these because they are what we need to give you a useful answer rather than a generic one.

You have to tick a consent box before the form will send. Our form provider records the date and time your submission arrived; that timestamp is our record of when you gave that consent.

Where enquiries go

Form submissions are handled by Netlify, our hosting provider, and are stored on their systems before reaching our team. They may be processed outside Australia. We use the details to respond to you and to keep track of the conversation. We do not sell them, and we do not share them with anyone who is not helping us respond to you.

Cookies and how we know where you came from

When you first arrive, our server sets a single first-party cookie recording how you got here — the campaign or link you followed, the page you landed on, and the date. Browsers cap cookies like this at roughly 400 days, and ours is set to that limit.

If you later send an enquiry, that record is attached to it so we know which of our efforts actually reach people. The fields involved are:

• utm_medium
• utm_campaign
• first_touch_at
• landing_page
• persona
• first_touch_confidence

If the cookie is missing when you submit — you cleared it, or you are on a different device — we record the source as unknown. We do not guess, and we do not substitute a later visit for the original one. An honest gap is more useful to us than a confident wrong answer.

The cookie holds no name, email, phone number or address, and it is not readable by scripts on the page.

Analytics and third parties

This site loads web fonts from Google Fonts and embeds video from YouTube. Those services receive your IP address when their content loads, under their own privacy terms.

Asking us for your details, or to delete them

You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email info@microhomesgroup.com.au and we will action it. You can also clear the cookie at any time through your browser settings.

Changes

If we change what we collect, we will change this page and update the reviewed date at the top.

RESOLVED 2026-08-28 (client sign-off) — this policy describes the site's actual behaviour and has NOT been reviewed by a lawyer. Client to obtain legal sign-off, confirm the collecting entity name and ABN, the contact address for privacy requests, and the complaints/escalation path, before production cutover.
